MicheleMade.com has posted this great tutorial on cereal box baskets…Hmm, maybe Tank and I should make this one as an Easter craft. We could give them out filled with candies to the Aunties

Book Lamp Tutorial by HGTV
HGTV posted this great tutorial on how to make this amazing lamp out of books. I can’t wait to try this one out for the farmers market retail space! What a great way to use something that would have been just sitting around into something useful.

Florida Farmers Market Now Open!
As you’ve probably noticed, there’s been a lack of posts here for a while. That has been due to the fact that Dave and I have been working endlessly day and night trying to open a new business.
Ta-da!
Dave and I have opened up Florida Farmers Market.
It’s a farmers market/gift shop/cafe.
We’ve got some awesome local crafters and even some of our own stuff from PaperJunk.com and MadeofJunk.com (which is why we’ve had a lack of posts here. Too busy, making stuff for the shop).
Check out some of the great local items we have available there:
Pin back buttons I made from vintage children’s books.

Dave made this glassware from recycled beer and wine bottles.

Have we mentioned before that Dave also makes candles? These below are made of beer bottles, coke bottles, and vintage glassware.

Homemade dolls by local Jennifer Pybus. Aren’t they adorable! They’re made of vintage fabrics and vintage hankies.

Headbands from vintage fabrics, ribbon hairbands, pom pom hairbands by Jennifer.

She also made this outstanding necklace out of soda bottles!

Jennifer also made this purse out of a vintage quilt! Is there nothing she can’t do?
